The full name for The Wreck is The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene.  Not that it matters.  It's not like there is a sign out front on which to paint the name.

It all started with Hurricane Hugo.  A trawler, the Richard and Charlene was moored at a neighboring dock.  Was is the key word.  But the time the storm had passed it was lifted out of the water and impaled on the dock's pilings.

The Wreck is another one of those low country restaurants that fries up great seafood.  I went for the shrimp and scallop combo.  Started with she crab soup and before that a bowl of complimentary boiled peanuts.
