There's
a seedy charm to Hiram's, which is right across a side
street from Callahan's. It's the kind of place
you're not sure about going into, but will end up glad you
did.
The
dogs are deep fat fried, a pork beef blend, and the roll
is toasted. There's beer to wash them down and these
are dogs meant to be chased by a Bud.
The
dogs are shorter and plumper than Callahan's. I
though that the Callahan's version fried up better.
Ideally
I'd grab a couple of dogs at Callahan's and head across
the street to Hiram's for beer and conversation.
Got
a feeling Hiram's probably frowns upon that sort of thing,
though.
