This place is pure meat and three - four or five daily specials.  I went for the chicken and dumplings but word has it  the fried chicken is mighty good.  Saw a couple of plates of meatloaf pass by that I'd be real happy with too.

And the sides.  Twenty three to choose from.  Maybe a few more as specials.  I had stewed tomatoes, sweet potato casserole and cabbage.  Choice of corn bread or biscuits too.

People always say, "Save room for dessert."  For real this time.  All homemade.  I went for a slice of coconut pie, but the peach cobbler looked great and their banana pudding is famous throughout the state.

Went back for breakfast a couple of weeks later.  That's the Gary Morris Special - Lite!!! - Two eggs over easy, a fried to order chicken breast, potato casserole, biscuits and gravy and grits.  Non lite gets you a second chicken breast.  Gary Morris - he's a country singer who knows a thing or two about a good country breakfast.
