What I like most about Campo's
is
that they bring a bit of South Philly 'tude (attitude)
to the hoards of tourists wandering Philadelphia's Old
City and Historic District. OK, they're friendly,
patient polite and that's not exactly South Philly when
it comes to tourists, but standing at the counter you
know you're not in Kansas anymore.
But their hoagies
and steaks are South Philly class and then some.
They start with a choice of Sarcone's bread - seeded or
not and proceed to build some of the best sandwiches in
town.
Another thing I
like about Campo's is their hours. Only because of
Campo's can one get a great Hoagie in Center City in the
evening. |
