Bistro Francais's
French Toast is fairly basic, but it is prepared
perfectly. Nice and thick and just the right
texture. A little butter and maple syrup to finish
it off. Fresh fruit on the side.
Their French Toast
was so good I went for the Breakfast Surprise on another
visit. Along with a slab of French Toast, two
fruit crepes topped with maple cream sauce.
On another visit,
their Western omelet - tomatoes, onions and peppers.
Made it back for
dinner with my hosts on Isla. Started with a
mixed salad that is topped with mushrooms and served
with a red wine vinaigrette. We all had the
excellent fish fillet with capers. Ask nicely (and
be willing to pay a bit more) and they will add some
sauteed shrimp. For dessert, crepes suzette of
course.
