Walter's has been around since 1919. The building is
easy to mistake for a Chinese restaurant, but the pagoda
roof heralds a time when, like all along Route 66,
restaurateurs designed their buildings to lure in
curiosity seekers.
Unneeded overkill for
Walter's. Their split and grilled dog topped with
their special mustard - a blend of spicy brown mustard and
a bit of pickle relish is enough to keep the lines long
come lunch time.
Along with the hot
dogs, a variety of fries, sodas and classic milk shakes.
There's a delightful picnic area a long side. |
