I
demand my residuals, or at least a bowl of their famous lobster
stew. Four years ago I wrote a suggestion in their
guest book that since they have lobster meat and since they already serve
eggs benedict, the Maine Diner should add Lobster Benedict
to the menu. They did. Now I want
my reward.
I'd
make more of a fuss if the Maine Diner wasn't such a great
place - known for their chowders and their lobster stew
and their blueberry pie and now, their lobster benedict.
On
my last visit,
seeking respite from a week of fried clams, chowder and lobster
rolls, I had chicken pot pie. Homemade, and as
good as I expected it to be.
