Mahony's is relatively new by po-boy standards, but they know what they're doing.  I had a fully dressed roast beef po-boy, one of their specialties.  To the right, above, seafood gumbo, a daily special.

System is easy.  Order at the corner of the bar, grab a seat and they'll bring it to you.

Mahony's is located in a small cottage, along Magazine Street.  They are open until 8, which is unusual for po-boys.
