Lester's is a diner's diner.  No aspirations to "Family Dining Restaurant."  100% Diner.  Looks like a diner, cooks like a diner, and the serves couldn't have been better if they came from Central Casting.

Assuming my dinner was indicative, everything is fresh cooked and home made.  I started with a robust bean soup.  Then onto Chicken Fried Steak with sliced carrots and spinach.  Dessert, a huge hunk of New York style cheese cake.
