Glidden Point grows oysters in seed beds along the Damariscotta River - their namesake, Glidden Point Oysters and the famous Damariscotta River Belons.  These are prime oysters - large, meaty, plump and firm.

The store is self serve.  Grab a bag, fill it with oysters.  Use the calculator to sum it all up and leave the payment.  "City folk seem to have trouble with the honor system.  They just stand there not sure what to do."   We have to come out and get them started."
