OK.  They want to call themselves the Glenwood Pines.  But for any of us who hung out there during our college years it will always be just "The Pines."

Used to head there mainly for drinking.  Still could.  Plenty of beer and an excellent bloody mary.

Seems they've done good stuff with their menu since my day.  The Pines brags mostly about their Pines Burger - a good two fisted cheeseburger with thousand island dressing and the usual fixings.  

But it's their foot long chili cheese dog that earned them their fifth star.  Alas, it's only available as a Friday special.  Hopefully they'll realize what they've gone and built a world class dog and make it available every day.
