Better known as Fast Eddie;s, Eddie and Son is well into its second "and son" generation.  Prices could date back to Eddie's time.  For sure, it's "Great food. Cheap."

While Eddie and Son offers a full service diner menu, the way to go is Italian. And the platter to order is either the chicken or veal parmesan  with a side of mac and gravy.  I went with the chicken parm.

That's an eggplant parmesan sandwich above,  Good eating.

In the should have ordered category, their baked macaroni and cheese.

The staff here is one of the friendliest I have happened upon in Providence.

Eddie and Son is in downtown Providence.  Fills up fast with long time regulars and office workers at lunch. I'm guessing many a deal has gone down over chicken parms.
