Every neighborhood needs a Dickie Dee's on the corner. 

They serve the classic north Jersey Italian Hot Dog.  A meal on a roll.  A pocket of Italian bread cut from a round loaf, stuffed with one or two hotdogs that have been fried in oil, along with potatoes, peppers and onions similarly fried.

Even better to my taste, a double Italian sausage.

They build subs, too, from the same Italian bread.
