The
Lobsterman's Co-op is just that, owned by Boothbay Harbor
area lobsterman. I
was there in late May, the lobsters are still hard shell,
which I prefer. Firmer, meatier. Between late
June and Mid-September the lobsters molt and their shells
are soft to medium. Easier to eat, some say sweeter,
but too watery and mushy for my taste.
