There
was something special about the hot dog bun. Great
flavor, yellowish color, perfectly formed. Couldn't
quite place it. Then I read the menu. Fresh
baked focacia - sliced and sliced again to resemble the
classic New England style hot dog bun.
Above is grilled
linguica, a Portuguese sausage found on the Massachusetts
coast north and south of Boston. Upper right, the
Nor'Easter with baked beans and bacon. To the right
a Yoddler = topped with melted swiss, dijon mustard and
grilled mushrooms. The grilled hotdogs are all Boar's
Head all beef.
