"I serve the best hot dog in New Jersey."  Said with conviction by the man in the blue and yellow striped trailer who's been selling them since 1971.  His one rule, painted on the menu frame, "16 - under must say please."

These are "Dirty Water" dogs, cooked in hot water.  Dirty water is good, not bad.  It's not really dirty, just flavored from that day's batch of dogs cooked in the water.  It gives a dog a special flavor you don't get with steamed or fried or grilled dogs.
