Great
Mexican Cooking. Some of it down-casa
authentic, some gussied up a bit. The Reading
Terminal Market location is more carry-out than
eat-in though there are seats. It is a great
Center City Philadelphia source for such Mexican
staples as chorizo, hot and mild peppers, spices and
more. Mucho prepared foods too, including a
case full of all kinds of salsa.

The
Bellevue 12th Street Cantina, part of the Downstairs at the
Bellevue food court, is mostly geared towards the lunch
business. A great steak fajita, incredible
mole, and my new favorite, tortas - grilled
sandwiches built on rustic Cuban bread. That's
the Cubano, above, the traditional Cuban sandwich of
pork, ham, swiss cheese and pickle, fancied a bit
with avocado and greens |
